Introduced in October 1991, The Mac Classic II was everything the original Classic should have been. It shipped in a restyled case, had a 16 MHz 68030 processor, and included a microphone. The Classic II cost $1,900 and was discontinued in September 1993. It was bundled with a 2400/9600 baud fax/modem and extra software and sold as the Performa 200 in September 1992. The Performa 200 was discontinued in April 1993.
